Some of the most well-known and interesting destinations are listed below.

OLD TOWN

Narrow streets, beautiful old houses and architectural monuments, churches and atmosphere special: the Old Town of Corfu is one of the attractions that you don't get enough of the guests! The Forts, the Palaces, the Esplanade, the Liston, the church of St. Spyridon, the Metropolis of Corfu, is just a few of the points of interest in the Old Town, unesco world heritage site since 2007.

OLD FORT

It is built on a small island on the eastern edge of the Old Town of Corfu and the Esplanade, the large square. The Old Fort stands the "keeper" of Corfu from the 6th century, when they built the Locals with the ruins of the Palaiopolis, the ancient city that was destroyed by raids.

THE NEW FORTRESS

It is said that the best panoramic view of Corfu enjoys one of the New Fortress of the city , which dominates the hill of St Mark's basilica, over the old port. It was built by the Venetians in the 16th century, for the strengthening of the defence, as well as the Old Fort was not sufficient anymore, and so it has remained known by the Italian name Fortezza Nuova

ACHILLEION

The Achilleon Palace, which was named after the empress Elizabeth of Austria, has great lands and gardens with sculptures by Achilles himself in the garden. The interior is exceptional, filled with mementos of the family, and portraits, and a lot of gold-plated, bright murals and frescoes. Located in Gastouri, the entrance fee is 4 euro, and is open from 8-5pm. Located in the village of Gastouri, ten miles southwest of the city of Corfu, through the olive groves and the lush nature of the island.

MON OFF

Within the area covered by the archaeological site of Palaiopolis in Corfu, situated on the lush estate of Mon repos. It is approximately 3 km from the town of Corfu and covers a total of 258 acres of vegetation on the hill of Ascension, and also includes an impressive palace with a magnificent view of the sea.

REGULATION

One of the most beautiful districts of the island, Kanoni, Corfu, situated on the outskirts of the modern city, in the southern peninsula of the hill of Ascension, where there is the archaeological site of Paleopolis. Kanoni Corfu got its name during the French Domination of Corfu, when the generals decided in 1798 to set up the most important fortifications, and the battery. The French cannon is still on the point, and can be several near by.
